财务分析报告的分类
(一)财务分析报告按其内容、范围不同，可分为综合分析报告，专题分析报告和简要分析报告
1.综合财务分析报告
综合分析报告又称全面分析报告，是企业依据会计报表、财务分析表及经营活动和财务活动所提供的丰富、重要的信息及其内在联系，运用一定的科学分析方法，对企业的经营特征，利润实现及其分配情况，资金增减变动和周转利用情况，税金缴纳情况，存货、固定资产等主要财产物资的盘盈、盘亏、毁损等变动情况及对本期或下期财务状况将发生重大影响的事项做出客观、全面、系统的分析和评价，并进行必要的科学预测而形成的书面报告。它具有内容丰富、涉及面广，对财务报告使用者做出各项决策有深远影响的特点。它还具有以下两方面的作用：
(1)为企业的重大财务决提供科学依据。由于综合分析报告几乎涵盖了对企业财务计划各项指标的对比分析和评价，能使企业经营活动的成果和财务状况一目了然，及时反映出存在的问题，这就给企业的经营管理者做出当前和今后的财务决策提供了科学依据。
(2)全面、系统的综合分析报告，可以作为今后企业财务管理进行动态分析的重要历史参考资料。
综合分析报告主要用于半年度、年度进行财务分析时撰写。撰写时必须对分析的各项具体内容的轻重缓急做出合理安排，既要全面，又要抓住重点。
2.专题财务分析报告
专题分析报告又称单项分析报告，是指针对某一时期企业经营管理中的某些关键问题、重大经济措施或薄弱环节等进行专门分析后形成的书面报告。它具有不受时间限制、一事一议、易被经营管理者接受、收效快的特点。因此，专题分析报告能总结经验，引起领导和业务部门重视所分析的问题，从而提高管理水平。

(二)财务分析报告按其分析的时间，可分为定期分析报告与不定期分析报告两种
1.定期财务分析报告
定期分析报告一般是由上级主管部门或企业内部规定的每隔一段相等的时间应予编制和上报的财务分析报告。如每半年、年末编制的综合财务分析报告就属定期分析报告。
2.不定期财务分析报告
不定期分析报告，是从企业财务管理和业务经营的实际需要出发，不做时间规定而编制的财务分析报告。如上述的专题分析报告就属于不定期分析报告。
