財務分析報告的分類
(一)財務分析報告按其內容、范圍不同，可分為綜合分析報告，專題分析報告和簡要分析報告
1.綜合財務分析報告
綜合分析報告又稱全面分析報告，是企業依據會計報表、財務分析表及經營活動和財務活動所提供的豐富、重要的信息及其內在聯系，運用一定的科學分析方法，對企業的經營特徵，利潤實現及其分配情況，資金增減變動和周轉利用情況，稅金繳納情況，存貨、固定資產等主要財產物資的盤盈、盤虧、毀損等變動情況及對本期或下期財務狀況將發生重大影響的事項做出客觀、全面、系統的分析和評價，並進行必要的科學預測而形成的書面報告。它具有內容豐富、涉及面廣，對財務報告使用者做出各項決策有深遠影響的特點。它還具有以下兩方面的作用：
(1)為企業的重大財務決提供科學依據。由於綜合分析報告幾乎涵蓋了對企業財務計劃各項指標的對比分析和評價，能使企業經營活動的成果和財務狀況一目瞭然，及時反映出存在的問題，這就給企業的經營管理者做出當前和今後的財務決策提供了科學依據。
(2)全面、系統的綜合分析報告，可以作為今後企業財務管理進行動態分析的重要歷史參考資料。
綜合分析報告主要用於半年度、年度進行財務分析時撰寫。撰寫時必須對分析的各項具體內容的輕重緩急做出合理安排，既要全面，又要抓住重點。
2.專題財務分析報告
專題分析報告又稱單項分析報告，是指針對某一時期企業經營管理中的某些關鍵問題、重大經濟措施或薄弱環節等進行專門分析後形成的書面報告。它具有不受時間限制、一事一議、易被經營管理者接受、收效快的特點。因此，專題分析報告能總結經驗，引起領導和業務部門重視所分析的問題，從而提高管理水平。
專題分析的內容很多，比如關於企業清理積壓庫存，處理逾期應收帳款的經驗，對資金、成本、費用、利潤等方面的預測分析，處理母子公司各方面

3.簡要財務分析報告
簡要分析報告是對主要經濟指標在一定時期內，存在的問題或比較突出的問題，進行概要的分析而形成的書面報告。
簡要分析報告具有簡明扼要、切中要害的特點。通過分析，能反映和說明企業在分析期內業務經營的基本情況，企業累計完成各項經濟指標的情況並預測今後發展趨勢。主要適用於定期分析，可按月、按季進行編制。
(二)財務分析報告按其分析的時間，可分為定期分析報告與不定期分析報告兩種
1.定期財務分析報告
定期分析報告一般是由上級主管部門或企業內部規定的每隔一段相等的時間應予編制和上報的財務分析報告。如每半年、年末編制的綜合財務分析報告就屬定期分析報告。
2.不定期財務分析報告
不定期分析報告，是從企業財務管理和業務經營的實際需要出發，不做時間規定而編制的財務分析報告。如上述的專題分析報告就屬於不定期分析報告。
